Students should also be permitted to use scratch paper during the assessment as it can be useful for them to make notes or organize their thoughts. However, following testing, scratch paper should be collected from students and securely disposed of.
Only students who are testing can observe assessment items. No other unauthorized personnel are permitted to be in the room during a test.
Administration of the Winsight Field Test is permitted only through the Student Interface via a secure browser.
Winsight test questions are considered secure materials. Improper use or distribution of these items may result in the contract between ETS® and your school being null and void, nullifying payments to your school.
Unintentional release of items should be reported but be assured that this will not result in negative actions in regards to the contract. Please report any security breaches to Winsightsupport@questarai.com.
Any failure to comply with security rules, either by staff or students, must be reported.
For more information about creating a secure test environment and how to handle suspected security breaches, please consult the Test Administration Manual for the Winsight Field Test.
This manual provides a full overview of the test administration process to teachers, staff and other educators. Please note, this and other resources are available only to participating schools. All Field Test participants will be provided a login to access resources on the Nextera Admin.
