The Winsight® Field Test is a “trial run” of the summative component of the Winsight Assessment System. It helps ensure that the assessments are valid, reliable, and fair for all students.
Schools who participate in the Field Test will receive:
The Field Test will be administered to students in grades 3-10 and is focused on collecting additional information on a select group of items. The data from the Field Test will provide ETS® with vital information on how these items perform in a real‐world setting and will inform the construction of the scale on which the operational assessments will be scored and reported.
Broad participation of schools nationwide is extremely important to the overall development of the assessments.
